What do you do with too many noodles and socks?

Make a ride on horse of course!  We had some leftover noodles from Landon's party so I turned them into these silly ride on horses for Western week at school.

Want a fun activity for your kiddos to try at home?  Try this...paint with water.  Wow!  Sounds exciting right?!  Seriously, get a large bucket of water and several paint brushes or spray bottles, and let them go crazy painting.  They can paint the driveway, sidewalk, house, door, car, whatever.  It's water so it doesn't hurt anything.  Kept my busy preschoolers busy for 30 minutes!  Best part...no cleanup!  That's my kind of painting :)

Marine Week

Marine Week recently came to St. Louis, so we decided to head over and let the boys see all the vehicles, weaponry, and military gadgets.  Not sure who liked it more - Josh or the boys.  I know I was pumped to hold all the big guns.  Guess I better get used to all the manly stuff since I'm vastly outnumbered. :)

Note to self...look back at this picture when Landon turns 16 and don't let the bros ride together :)

Thank you Marines for your service to us and America.  Here's to you..............

A little girl in my class brought in this crazy wig for show and tell and the boys tried it on.  Mr. America on the left is one of Landon's good friends Scott.  If you can't tell by the pic he is as big of a character as Landon.  Too funny!!

Garden...Take 3

Well this is our third year of attempting a garden, and I must say practice is making perfect.  We are having very good luck so far and have enjoyed blackberries, zucchini, a few green beans (literally 3), tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and an abudance of yukon gold potatoes.  The potatoes are SO fresh and tasty - plus bonus, no butter needed...they taste that good.  Way to go Josh...because this is all him.  I'm not so good at taking care of living things, well other than my two most important living things!
