Fun around the house

We had a couple of crazy ice days, so we were cooped up in the house.  We had some great family time playing, making stuff, and just being silly.
Hard to tell in this pic, but I woke up to our backyard looking like it was covered in bling.  Shiny chunks of ice were sparkling everywhere on the ground and in the trees.  It was absolutely stunning and left me thinking that ice and snow must be God's way of accesorizing our already beautiful world....and you all know I LOVE accessories :)

Tree Bling

Brody has taken his first couple steps and is enjoying cruising around the house.

My little Elvis man - Landon found a black neck pillow and was running around wearing it.
He's one crazy boy!

Making cookies

Landon's favorite cookie - it's his hand with LOTS of icing and decorations.

Brody had fun playing with and chewing on the cookie cutters.

Josh mixes up some marshmallow fondant we prepped in advance for Brody's birthday!
My man is barefoot and cooking in the kitchen - oh yeah that's how we roll!  No gender sterotypes here.

Brody's 1st Haircut

After the last month of Brody's mad scientist hair and the last several months of him sporting a mean mollet, I decided it was time for a haircut.  We went to the local barber shop in Highland and the barber was great with Brody - although Brody was not too great for him.  He would sit really still and just when he was ready to cut he would quickly move his head.  Miraculously, he was able to get it trimmed up!
Not sure what is going on...
Getting his first smarties in hopes of keeping him still

Picture of his cut hair, but sorry Brods mom is not going to keep it.
Sweet to some, but just feels a little creepy to keep hair to me.

The finished product!
